Navigating the Outer Abyss
Legendary Glide from the Icarus Witness is the primary traversal tool. High Jump complements Jump Pad tower launches that send you approximately 500 meters upward. Red beams mark active Jump Pad towers.
The entire Outer Abyss is covered in Miasma. Falling into Miasma respawns you at fixed points and disables Rewind in many zones. The Miasma Reservoir opening connects directly to the Outer Abyss perimeter.
Connections & Landmarks
The Outer Abyss spans from Runic Enclave (lowest) to Penumbral City Outskirts near The Crumbling Church (highest). Windmill structures, hardened Miasma towers, and lilypad collections mark key navigation points.
Connection Tower Top features Miasma lilypads at the entrance. Symbol markers indicate Legendary Glide and High Jump requirements for nearby sections.
Rewards & Echoes
Eight Echoes hide in the Outer Abyss, including areas near Corrupted Wings cosmetics. Floor 5 rooms opened in the May 2026 update provide new paths into Outer Abyss sections.
